I’ve been buying aligns for years but thinking of switching to Wunder Under or Train for the more compression fit (recently had a baby so I’m looking to squish some of that belly back down lol)

I’ve hesitated all this time though because of the fit so I have a few questions:

1. Compared to aligns do you buy the same size or different in the Wunder options? I wear size 8 or 10 in aligns - this is NOT my pants size in jeans. I wear XL’s or like a 14/16 in number sizes. But if I buy that in aligns they just fall right off of me or I spend my whole day pulling them up.

2. That little string on the waistband - does that cut into your stomach? I generally like the aligns because they don’t have the seam at the top of the pants like many brands do. I often find the seam uncomfortable and I see these don’t have a too seam per se but I wonder if the waist string will essentially feel the same?

I don’t have one near me to try them on and while I will probably order a few different options to try on and return but I’d like to narrow it down a bit!
