I haven’t seen any posts about this (excuse me if I missed it) but I figured I’d let you guys know how to care for your items. I’ve read some reviews on products and it seems like a lot of people don’t know the following tips!

DO NOT put ANYTHING in the dryer!!! This will extend the longevity of your products by far. Hang-dry always for all lulu items. If absolutely necessary, you can use an air dry cycle to get the lint off but do not use heat AT ALL.

Wash cold with similar items. Avoid washing with rough items like jeans, towels, things like that. Harsh zippers and other fabrics can snag the material in the wash.

Avoid fabric softener. This thins out fabric and should be avoided at all costs!!

I always hang-dry everything except pajamas, socks, underwear, and lounge clothes I don’t care about. Everything else air dries. My teenagers and husband do the same.
Set a fan (or two) to blow on the wet clothes. They’ll dry in a jiffy! I have an over-the-door drying rack that is perfect for leggings and lightweight items like swiftlys. I use a more sturdy over-the-door fold-down Yamazaki “coat rack” to hang heavy items like Scubas. I use hangers that don’t leave stretch marks on the shoulders. If an item comes out of the washer wrinkly, I put it in the dryer for three or four minutes with a dryer sheet, then hang it dry. This works great for t-shirts. For those who don’t like the stiffness of air-dried clothes, once your items are dry, air-fluff them in the dryer for just a few minutes.
Air drying is good for clothing and the environment. North Americans are way too attached to dryers…they are used very sparingly elsewhere. I don’t think I can post links, but I will list below the titles of my favorite items to search on Amazon.
