I have many scuba oversized jackets as they’re perfect for the up and down Texas weather, and while I’m working from home. The last one I bought was in November of 2022 (I have 10 in total from pre-Nov 2022). Coincidentally I was wearing that one yesterday when I opened up my splurge purchase of two new Scuba Funnel Necks.

To my shock and surprise the two new ones I purchased are a FAR lower quality fabric than my Nov 2022 one. My old one was thick enough to keep me warm and hold up under chilly early spring temps. The sweatshirt fabric on these new ones is incredibly thin. This won’t keep me warm in the 40s-50s at night here.

I’m a huge Lululemon fan and have amassed an incredible amount of pieces over the last 8-10 years. I know I’ve read about the quality going down in this subreddit but my gosh… to see it in person I’m absolutely floored. And saddened. I’m not going to keep paying the same prices for way lower quality!

Anyways, rant over but just had to get it off my chest to a community that I know has seen the decline in quality.

I spent a stupid amount on lulu in 2023 as I finally felt like I could afford it and as much as I tried to stop buying new pieces, I couldn’t. nothing got me to stop until I started wearing my old aligns from 2017 and realized THAT is what’s worth the money. I’ve stopped impulse buying and having FOMO because I know the quality has declined. not saying it’s poor quality now but the old stuff was incredible and lasts forever.
