How water resistant is the MistOver Windbreaker? Wearing it on a spring ATV adventure at my local mud pits, paired with my Groove Nulu Flare pants. It’s spring… lots of mud, puddles and potential rain. Will it handle some mud/puddle spray and splashes?

Are those pants the best idea? Especially if you’re driving, the extra fabric can get in the way of the gears, especially wet and muddy. I’d recommend pants that are fit to your leg for protection of your legs and to keep you safe.

I can’t think of anything worse honestly ! I hate the feeling of wet dirty pants dragging under my feet, reminds me of 6th grade recess in my much too long bell bottoms .

It can only handle light drizzle; if you brush the droplets off immediately it can stay dry, but over prolonged period in rain it gets completely soaked, it won’t protect at all for any actual splashes of water.

Eh sure, but the water from the mud will likely eventually soak into the fabric and the mud will dry onto the fabric. If it was a lighter color I might be concerned for stains or something. Black is washable and less of a big deal.

I think purely waterproof would be the way to go if you are doing anything other than the equivalent of spraying a mister bottle onto your jacket for 10 seconds.

I personally would not wear anything lululemon combined with mud. The material is pretty delicate and would become stained or ruined in the wash trying to get the mud off.
