I just wanted to come on here and review this vest while I am wearing it. I bought this vest towards the end of winter last year because I was such a fan of the full jacket that I also own. After getting more of a consistent use out of it this winter, I can thoroughly say that I am impressed with the quality of this vest.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from Lululemon because I usually only wear their activity-based stuff, but this vest does its job and does it well. I am in Illinois, and the temperatures have been hovering around 20°F for the past week or so, and this on top of a hoodie or good base layer does the trick just fine. It also keeps a lot of the cold out when it is windy, which helps quite a bit in this unpredictable Midwest weather.

Zipper: 7/10 —Good zipper, nothing exceptional.

Pockets: Front pockets have plenty of space for a phone, keys or any other small items. Keeps your hands warm, but I have noticed in the wind it starts to get to you pretty quick. Also an interior chest pocket, which is pretty handy.

Insulation: 8/10–While this is expensive for what it is, it does its job very well. If you’re stationary, or doing light activities it’ll keep you warm. I have noticed if you go on walks, or move around a lot in it, it may get a little too hot.

Comfort —10/10 —Like anything Lululemon, this is going to be the clear category winner. You can wear this in pretty much any way you want. Wear it on top of a t shirt, base layer, hoodie, or sweatshirt and you’re good to go. It’s a very good fit and you won’t even notice you’re still wearing it.
