I placed an order on 12/8… as of 12/21 I did not receive it. I started a chat with LLL’s customer service and told them about it… Nicely. Initially she told me she understood, would credit my cc and she would bring it to her team to improve on shipping. Then asked me if there was anything else… essentially closing the conversation.
I then told her that it was not right that all I was getting was a “sorry” and that I would like some compensation for their extreme shipping issue. She then offered me a $15 gift card. I nicely said that wasn’t enough… and asked her how would she feel if a retailer did that to her.
She then said the most she could do at her level was a $20 gift card. At this point we all know that she probably couldn’t do anymore and that there is no supervisor via chat. So I thanked her and recognized that i knew she could only do so much.
End of day, fight for what you should get from LLL. While $20 isn’t much, it’s not likely they are going to give more. It just sucked that I had to fight for it. I’m sure that is how they are trained to respond. I decided to move on, not stress over it and get ready to enjoy the holiday.
