I received a pair of Aligns for Christmas and they are too long. I was wondering if I went to a store to exchange them, and they didn’t have my size in stock, would they be able to do the exchange and place an order in store to be shipped to me?

Or, is it better to just have the gifter do an online return and then repurchase the new size for me?
