I know these weren’t too popular on the sub, but I actually loved the way they looked!
Here are some unedited pics (I did increase the brightness, and tried to crop out my messy room.)
Thoughts overall:
Skirt
The skirt is really cute, and I loved the way they felt on. The shorts are the real winner here, imo. They fit like the license to train logo shorts, but are 4” instead of 2”, which is a big win for my thicker thighs. I hate when shorts roll up into an adult diaper. However, despite the comfort and fit, I didn’t feel it was very flattering on my figure. It short of widened and hidden my curves, so I would say it’s not really curvy friendly. Also, you need to size up from your align shorts size!!! (I usually wear an 8 in leggings, 10 in shorts, but tried these as a 12.)
Define Jacket
The jacket is really cute but screams rave, which isn’t really my aesthetic. The construction was top notch, as always with Lulu, and the mesh honestly feels really nice against the skin. The fit is TTS!
My main concern is that with all the mesh interior, you have to be very conscientious of what you’re wearing underneath. As shown in the pics, I wore the navy sweetheart top (forgot the exact name) and you can see the lines peeking out on the straps and sides. It seems it would pair best with a halter bra.
However, the mesh also gives unparalleled breathability, so if you’re one of those that works out in your defines, that could be a plus.
