I bought a fast and free running armband last year and loved it so much. It’s the only running armband that I found that was not velcro and used actual clasps to adjust on your arm.
I left the armband across the country over the holidays, so I ordered a new one. It is velcro now, except the description uses the generic term “hook and loop” which is the technically correct generic term, but since the selling point of the design was ACTUAL hooks that went into cloth loops, that description feels pretty scammy in this context. The photos only show the front of the armband, which is still the same mesh, and not really the band itself, so there was no way to tell from the photos that the product had fundamentally changed.
This has left such a sour taste in my mouth, please be warned if you’re in the market for a running armband. Also, if you know of any that use an actual clasp closure and not velcro or its generic equivalent.
