This morning I got an email receipt for an in store purchase for somewhere on the east coast. I live on the west coast and literally just woke up when I saw the email. I immediately called and they said it must have been an error during checkout. Okay, whatever. Then I dug around in my purchase history and saw another one in a different state a few months ago. Called in to make sure no one is trying to use my discount (they didn’t). They escalated the case to try and find out what happened. Different states, different last four on the card. I asked if they could change my email on my acct, but they couldn’t. How the heck does something like that happen for an in store purchase?
