I don’t like this color, and I can’t sell it, so I’m thinking of trying to dye it. After some preliminary research, I’ve learned that I should use acid dyes and the stovetop method.

My only reservation is that the gray detailing would show through whatever color I dye it. I really like the periwinkle color Jacquard has, but I’m not sure if it’s dark enough to mask the gray. I’m also nervous that the high heat from the stove might damage the Lycra and stretch of the fabric.

Has anyone else dyed Luon before, and could offer some advice? Thank you!
