I hated going to the gym when I was (more) overweight bc I felt I looked so bad and was so self-conscious. And it may not work for everyone, but it worked for me: I started being intentional about what I wore instead of just throwing on any loose baggy fit from before.

I am about a year postpartum now, and have lost 50 pounds — it was a rough pregnancy yall 😭I gained 90 pounds and it took me SO LONG to start working out bc I was hating myself after the baby. I’m still working through my body recomp and have the remaining 40 pounds to go, but I no longer hate myself and in fact, usually feel like I’m actually cute bc of these outfits!

Anyway, I really don’t think I could have done it without all of you posting your gym fits and showing me I could look and feel cute and feel like I “belonged” at the gym, even when in my crazy head I thought I had to arrive to the gym fit already 😭
