My body changed a lot due to hormonal changes. Women in mid to late 40s can all relate. I’ve had a hard time adjusting to my new body and this trend of long line bras as shirts ain’t it for me. I need to feel comfortable so I can train like the athlete I know I am without yanking sleeves down and worrying about covering my tummy.

I started shopping men’s about a year ago. The arms of the short sleeve tees are longer and fit better. Things are longer and more forgiving when I just want to move freely. I love the women’s lines but I don’t always want clingy, skin tight, cropped clothes. I’ve got drysense and metal vent tees and hoodies for running. The surge half zips are awesome for colder weather run and less form fitting than it’s rulu run tops. City sweat hoodies are more roomy and cozy. I stopped shopping the website by filtering women’s and men’s and now shop by color, fabric, and sport. Even the men’s blazer fits me better. I wear a 10 or 12 in women’s and mostly medium sometimes large in men’s.

I’m sorry your going through so much. Hang in there and don’t be hard on yourself. You are more than what you weigh and you are loved no matter what your body looks like.
