I am new to investing to Lululemon, I recently came around to investing in higher quality pieces rather than leggings that only last a few washes. My main use for lululemon is hot yoga, specifically the yoga sculpt classes at core power(which can be very hot). I have tried on all the types of leggings that my lululemon store had and I really only liked the aligns. One store worker recommended the aligns for my hot yoga, and other recommended the WunderTrain for the sculpt classes. I did not really like the fit and comfort of the WunderTrains, but I am worried that the classes are too sweaty for the aligns and I don’t want to ruin them by using them improperly. Any advice?
I use WT or Alo Airlifts for high intense workouts and hot yoga/sculpt. I can’t do aligns because they feel soggy wet and heavy afterwards…but everyone is different.

I would definitely recommend wunder trains for hot yoga. They are sweat wicking, and fast drying. Do you have a curvy body type? That could be the reason why the regular WTs aren’t comfortable. I have that issue so I wear the wunder train contour fit id:kwxzp1v
As a lululemon educator, I can honestly tell you that aligns are meant for all types of yoga. Wundertrain are mainly used for high intensity training that can cause friction (aka HIIT, Strength training and etc). I genuinely think you’ll be fine as long as you also take care to launder them properly. Meaning only wash lululemon items together with cold water on delicate and have them air dry (or use the dryer machine on low heat / delicate dry)
I only wear wunder trains for hot yoga. They’re definitely not the most comfortable. I only wear them for hot yoga or to lift because they are sweat wicking and so quick to dry. Also I don’t notice the compression while I’m moving in the class or working out. I like aligns more comfort wise, but wear those for gentle yoga or lounging. I wore them once to a sweatier yoga class and felt a bit soggy after.
Wundertrains have more compression so I find them a bit too tight for activities like yoga, and more suitable for weight training. Have you tried fast and frees? They’re a hybrid of luxtreme and nulu (the align material). I honestly forget im wearing bottoms when I have them on because they’re so comfy. The luxtreme in them can help with the sweat wicking

My wife teaches sculpt and C2 classes at CP. All she wears is Align leggings.

I do hot yoga and hot pilates 2x a week and I honestly did not love my wunder trains until I took them into the studio for those classes. They dry the fastest so I find that to be a major benefit - I can tell when I wear anything else that it feels soppy half way through the class. I think it depends on your comfort level. A lot of girls at my studio wear align or wunder trains.

If your non LLL leggings are can’t last a few washes, I would suggest your find out if your washing machine or the way u do your laundry is the culprit.
The last time u want is your washing machine chewing up those expensive LLL leggings id:kwwtumw
